DAILY OBSERVATION
A daily observation is done on each pet every day. We will make notes about any problems or concerns. If there is a concern with your pet, a manager is contacted and a decision is made about what action to take. Many situations can be treated or remedied here at the kennel by our managers. If we think veterinary care is needed, we will act immediately. A few of the things we check for are as follows;
- Infected ears
- Weeping or runny eyes
- Runny nose
- Any scrapes or cuts on body/legs/paws
- Stool - parasites, blood, diarrhea
- Urine - blood, frequency
- Eating habits
- Is the animal drinking water
- Emotional well being
